Volunteering at Isha Foundation

Sadhguru views volunteering as a profound way to contribute to the world while transforming oneself. He often emphasizes that true volunteering is not about what you give to others, but what you give to yourself through the act of selfless service. According to him, volunteering allows one to transcend the boundaries of individual identity and experience a deeper connection with life itself. It is a path to inner growth, joy, and fulfillment.

At Isha Foundation, volunteering opportunities are diverse, catering to different interests and commitments:

Event Volunteering: Support large-scale programs like Inner Engineering, Mahashivratri, and the Rally for Rivers by managing logistics, hospitality, and coordination.

Ashram Volunteering: Engage in dedicated service within the ashram, including roles like Linda Seva (cleaning and maintenance) and Linga Seva (supporting the worship and upkeep of the Dhyanalinga and associated sacred spaces), helping maintain the sanctity and smooth functioning of the spiritual environment.

Community Outreach: Participate in social initiatives such as rural rejuvenation, education (Isha Vidhya), health camps (Isha Health Mobile Clinic), and environmental campaigns (Save Soil).

Administrative and Support Roles: Help with communications, fundraising, and operational tasks within the foundation.

Sadhanapada & Residential Programs: Volunteer as mentors or support staff for intensive residential programs, aiding fellow seekers on their spiritual journeys.

Volunteering at Isha is not just service—it’s an opportunity to experience life with greater awareness, purpose, and joy.
